Youth Challenge
Public Relations and Media Dept.
Hello friends and supporters! It is my job to place in as many hands as possible the vital resource of Youth Challenge. In this endeavor I have sought out new ways to expand our friend base and heighten the exposure of the Youth Challenge of Hampton Roads Program. We have made many advances in the media area of our ministry, including an updated web-site in addition to social media networking on such sites as Twitter and Facebook. In addition to bringing exposure to Youth Challenge I am also responsible for a portion of fund raising. This includes raising funds for our General Account, Educational Account, Community Outreach and Public Relations.
It is for this reason I send out this challenge. We are in need of updated computers, but specifically a computer that is able to handle the programs we will soon be using to produce video student testimonies, as well as a promotional video for use in our local churches and government. The purpose for a promotional video is two fold. First we want to be able to introduce Youth Challenge to people in churches that wouldn't normally have us come to or that are to far away for us to travel to.
Secondly digital media provides an excellent way to raise funds to continue the mission set before us by our Glorious Lord.
We are asking that you pray about helping us in this area. To date we have a $150.00 commitment toward a $2000.00 target amount. We believe that this addition to our Public Relations Dept. would help bring Youth Challenge to the next level in our goal of restoring those suffering with drug addiction for God's glory.
